My parents never paid much attention to what I was reading either, which is funny because they're so conservative they probably would have stopped me from reading a lot of what I did as a teen. I'm a bit more attentive to what my kids read :)<br /><br />Stephen King was about the only "cool" thing to read when I was a teenager, so I read a lot of his books, too.
