A little snow in Central Texas...

Hello book friends!  Just a quick note and picture to show that we did get a little snow in Central Texas overnight.  I know that it doesn't even compare to what many of you get, but....it didn't have an ice base.  Yay!  Plus, it will be gone by later today or tomorrow.  We don't see much 'white stuff' here.  Other parts of Texas - crazily, closer to the Texas coast, got more I think.

Hope all of you are doing well.  I'll be back tomorrow with a 'Waiting On Wednesday' post and on Friday (or maybe Monday) with an update of what I've been reading this year so far.  Talk to you soon!

    1. It was cold and is still cold - at least to me. However, we've got friends who are visiting up in the panhandle of Texas and it was -1 there this morning. No thank you!!

    1. I do know how you love it. And, by the way, those were some 'serious' icicles in your header post - wow!!

  4. We got about 4 inches on Sunday, but it is now literally -2 degrees, so it's not going anywhere anytime soon!

    1. Our snow is now gone. Crazy how much fell in other parts of the south and southwest. Shots of New Orleans were a little weird. Hope you guys stay warm. We've got one more freeze at night and then supposedly a more moderate week.

    2. The 'southeast' not the 'southwest' - ha!

  6. We get snow like this here in the Phoenix area sometimes. Not this year, though. It's been chilly (at least for us) and windy, but that's about it.

    1. We don't get the snow every year, but sometimes. I think a 'big' snow is usually more like every 10 years or so. I just don't want the ice. It is awful!

  7. I'm glad there was no ice along with that snow! Our temps have been cold (30s), but we're very dry these days. I don't think we've had any rain for two weeks. Not complaining!

    1. Crazy to think about your area being 'very dry' - in winter no less. Yes, I can imagine not complaining. The Pacific Northwest usually has so many months of rain and rain and rain. Hope you guys get just enough.
